Our Automatic Container Damage Detection System (ADDS) is the first commercially available solution for automatic container damage inspection. The solution uses modern AI software with line scan camera technologies in the gate area and PTZ-cameras in quayside to digitize the container condition.
Container damage inspection without interruptions
ADDS automatically recognizes damage, such as holes, dents and bulges, when trucks drive through detection portals or containers are being handled by STS cranes. Trucks no longer need to stop for manual damage inspections, which cuts the time spent at gate transactions and significantly decreases turnaround times. Automated inspection also allows terminal operators to move manpower from the yard to the office. Visy ADDS can be inserted as a feature for normal OCR applications like truck gate OCR, Rail OCR or Crane OCR. if automatic detection of other features such as container IDs, ISO codes, dangerous goods labels, door orientation, or seal presence are desired.
